ASSOCIATE PASTOR .
In January , 2021 IEC ordained Pastor Michael Mengesha who has been part of the IEC family for a long time to serve as associate pastor. Here is a brief introduction as provided by Michael himself.
My name is Michael Mengesha. I have been part of IEC for over 30 years. I came to know the Lord through the ministry of IEC Sunday School. I have continued to serve as Sunday School assistant, teacher, youth group leader, AWANA coordinator, premarital counselor, as an elder and now as congregational care pastor.
While I was at IEC I met the navigator’s ministry and they contributed a lot in my discipleship walk and have developed me as a leader. I want to see IEC become a gospel centered, disciple making church that is a model to churches in Ethiopia and beyond.
I am married to Fasika and the Lord has blessed with three wonderful boys, Abenezer, Caleb and Gedion.
