The purpose of the Media and Communications Ministry here at international Evangelical Church is to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our visually-driven, ever-changing world through the use of technology and media, and to equip other ministries of the church to use digital and electronic media as worship and outreach tools.
This ministry not only provides the technical support required for our worship services, but also records various events, teachings and sermons, which are made available on our youtube channel, soundcloud, facebook and website. It is also available on CD/DVD upon request
Every day millions of people search for answers for spiritual questions, and over 2 million of them do it over the internet. In these current times, it is becoming harder for churches to address these desires just from a pulpit on Sundays.
So what is a church to do?
The need grows every day and it is becoming imperative that we reach them where they are and in a medium they can understand and access.
There are plethora of opportunities and free platforms to use nowadays so we don’t need to create every thing. Instead we can use what is already created while also innovating some of our own. With the help of websites and social media we can truly connect and engage with people through online discipleship programs.
To use our website and social media platforms intentionally and thoughtfully to engage people and help them to know Christ and bring them to maturity in Him.
Use already created free Short films and also make some to ignite a new way of presenting the Gospel and hold spiritual conversations with non believers.
